My husband and I make a good income - $200,000, since last October when he started his own law firm. We want a $465,000 house with no money down and a thirty-year fixed mortgage. What would we be looking at in interest rates and monthly payments?

I have been at the University of Maryland for two years and have been actively involved in the Jewish community during that entire time. I spend more hours a day at Hillel, eating, praying, meeting or hanging out, than I do in my own room. This community defines my college experience.

Election pundits have repeatedly asked why Barack Obama has trouble attracting blue collar Whites as if he created the problem and could solve it. But it is interesting why blue collar Whites support Republicans who care little about their problems.

When it comes to televised comedies, I'm a bit of a snob. I can't stand a laugh track, particularly when it feels like a crutch as opposed to background noise. My snobbery in comedies combined with my love of laughter might explain why I love a good dramedy.

Given that we live in the so-called information age, in which the media can constantly produce news stories and deliver them to millions of readers, it is perhaps not surprising that the media has received a lot of blame this election. Should the networks have let candidates polling extremely low and raising little money debate with the frontrunners? Have reporters been treating Hillary Clinton too harshly and Barack Obama too leniently? How long should they tell voters Clinton still has a shot? Questions like this have come up time and time again.

For some students, gambling means nothing more than the occasional poker game or March Madness bracket. But for others, the stakes are much higher. "I gamble to make money, not for fun," says Greg*, a Georgetown senior who has asked to remain anonymous. "I see the balancing act between playing cards and everything else in my life as the same type of trade-off someone has to make between a 9 to 5 job and the rest of their life.

"Goodbye Blues" is a change of pace for indie-poppers, The Hush Sound. The third album from the Illinois based quartet was released on March 18, and has since received some mixed reviews. After a couple of avid ventures through it though, listeners seem to change their tune and realize that the album really is just as strong as the band's former two.
